We went to the doctor again today and I am cleared to go on our cruise on Saturday! Everything is going well. We heard the heartbeat (it's still in the 150s per minute), and all of my levels are good on everything. Our next appointment is on March 19, and we will have the 20 week ultrasound and find out the gender of the baby if he/she is turned the right way!!!
I am feeling pretty good lately; drinking so much water it's insane, but they say that's good for me and the baby. I am hungry a lot, but am trying to eat healthy snacks like fruit.
Brad and I are really looking forward to our babymoon. It's our last trip before the baby, and I think it will be a good one. We are cruising to Roatan, Belize and Cozumel, and have some fun excursions planned. And, of course, there will be plenty for me to feed the little one! We'll check in after the trip!

Drano
OK, so on Saturday Brad and I went over to his parents' house. When we got there, his mom, Ann, told me she had something to show me. One of her friends told her that if a pregnant woman pours her urine over Drano crystals, she can find out the sex of the baby. If it stays green, it's a girl. If it turns brown, it's a boy. She had a plastic cup ready for me. So, off to the bathroom I went. We then went outside to the patio and poured the urine into a glass with Drano crystals in it (evidently it has to be the crystals to work properly!). After a little shaking and stirring, it turned brown on the bottom of the glass where the crystals were. So, that makes the third "test" or "urban myth" that says we're having a boy...I have already dangled a necklace with a charm over my belly, and I didn't throw up during my first trimester. So.....in a few more weeks we'll see if these tests are really true, or if they really are just urban myths!
